The Center for Insurance Studies

The center for Insurance Studies has received strong support from both industry and CIS friends, which has enabled us to financially reward deserving students with a number of different scholarships.

The Program in Insurance and Financial Services was designed for students who are principally interested in the insurance industry. It integrates technology, written communications, oral communications, interpersonal skills and ideas relating to sound business practices into the insurance/financial services curriculum. The program is offered under the sponsorship of the Department of Finance.

The goal of the Center for Insurance Studies is to educate talented individuals who are seeking a career in the insurance and financial services industry, and to act as a bridge between the university and industry. The programs and events offered are designed to help students reach their goal of professional employment in the insurance industry.
