Professor Don Valachi appointed on the Advisory Board of the Real Estate Education Endowment Fund
 

Don Valachi, Clinical Professor of Real Estate in the Department of Finance, has been appointed to a three year term on the Advisory Board of the Real Estate Education Endowment Fund (REEF), a Sacramento-based entity that consists of 3 CSU faculty members, 3 members from the private sector, and 3 members from the public sector.  According to Jaime R. Alvayay, Executive Director, Professor Valachi was “the ideal person for this position”.  Among other responsibilities at CSUF, Dr. Valachi overseas disbursement of scholarships for students interested in careers in real estate and funded by the Real Estate Education Endowment and serves as faculty advisor to the student Real Estate Association. 

 “Don has done a terrific job over the years in ensuring Cal State Fullerton students interested in real estate careers have the support they need to continue their education, regardless of their financial circumstances.  His appointment to this important statewide Advisory Board underscores that recognition through the CSU system” said Professor Michael LaCour-Little, Professor of Finance and Associate Director of the Real Estate and Land Use Institute at Cal State Fullerton.
