
Dr. Kallapur received his doctorate from Harvard University. He teaches financial accounting and conducts research in the area of empirical financial accounting.
Prior to joining the faculty at Purdue, Dr. Kallapur was a professor of accounting at the University of Arizona and a visiting professor of accounting at Hong Kong University of Science & Technology. Professor Kallapur is a member of the American Accounting Association and a member of the Accounting Horizons editorial board.
