Overview: Annotated data sources are arranged by category. Exhibit 1 follows that of Thrall
(2001, 2002), with several additional data categories added in the Journal of Real
Estate Literature, 2002, 10:2, 297–303.

Selected sources of international data from Europe are included. This data can be
valuable for identifying international real estate trends and investment opportunities.

Included with each annotation are contact information (address, URL), descriptive
information on what is offered by the public and private data vendors, and name and
contact information of person submitting the data annotation. The data annotations
presented in Exhibit 2 are additions or updates to those provided in Exhibit 2 of Thrall
(2001).

All readers are encouraged to contribute annotations via email to the editor for the
Real Estate Information Technology section of the Journal of Real Estate Literature,
or to any REITech editorial board member. Annotations to be considered for
publication must be complete, follow the format presented here and include a
suggested category heading or subheading for with each contributed annotation. The
contributing author’s name and contact information will be published along with each
contributed annotation.
