Abstract: Transamerica Information Management Services and other companies throughout the United States are making tax assessor's property data available on CD-ROM for numerous counties in the United States. Transamerica is adding many new counties each year to its database in a format that allows easy available and for further analysis. This article describes the nature of the data, how it can be accessed, and statistically examined to the benefit of the real estate researcher.
